Week One - Class One

After getting a better understanding of the brief, and brainstorming some ideas. I decided that the most interesting topic for myself to look at was sports and recreation. I have began by looking and doing some research at different set activities and destinations around Wellington.

Over the week we were given a matrix to help narrow our selection of recreational destination or activity, I found this very helpful to narrow my choice. I also collected ideas and researched through books about sports and recreation. After doing this I have got a better understanding and gained some knowledge on how designers communicate their designs and examples across. One book I looked at that stood out was; Landscape Beyond, (A Journey into Photography) because of its simplicity of  layout and design. By looking at different books and sites, it has inspired me to go out and take photos around the Wellington waterfront and City to get a better view and perspective of my activity.
